🌸 A wonderful blooming time for Japanese cherry blossoms! 🌸

I was recently riding my bike near Sakura Park in Warsaw and decided to stop for a moment and try hanami, a custom of admiring the blooming of cherry blossoms, popular in Japan. And the Japanese ones are wonderful. These Japanese cherry blossoms are gorgeous. Light pink, big and fluffy 😊

Przejeżdżałam niedawno na rowerze koło parku Sakur w Warszawie i postanowiłam zatrzymać się na chwilę i spróbować popularnego w Japonii hanami, czyli zwyczaju podziwiania kwitnienia kwiatów wiśni. A te japońskie są cudne. Jasnoróżowe, duże i puchate 😊

First, I walked among the cherry trees, and after a while I came closer to them and my eyes were enchanted by them. At one point I walked under a Japanese cherry tree as if it were a flowery umbrella. It felt like a beautiful hideout there.

Najpierw chodziłam między drzewami wiśni, a po chwili podeszłam do nich bliżej i mój wzrok był nimi oczarowany. W pewnym momencie weszłam pod drzewo japońskiej wiśni, jakby to był kwiecisty parasol. Czułam się tam jak w przepięknej kryjówce.

Fortunately, there weren't too many people in the park. A few women took photos of cherry blossoms with their phones, but there are a dozen or so trees in Sakura Park, so everyone can find a tree for themselves 😉

Na szczęście w parku nie było za dużo osób. Kilka kobiet robiło telefonami zdjęcia kwiatów wiśni, aczkolwiek w parku Sakur znajduje się kilkanaście drzew, więc każdy może znaleźć drzewko dla siebie 😉

I regretted that I didn't have a blanket with me, because it would have been wonderful to lie down under such a cherry tree and relax with a good book.

Żałowałam, że nie miałam ze sobą koca, bo cudownie byłoby się rozłożyć pod takim drzewem wiśni i zrelaksować, z dobrą książką. Idylla trochę jak pod słynną lipą Kochanowskiego 😉
