The traditional Aceh house also has a strong and earthquake-resistant construction, this is because Aceh is located in an earthquake zone. The construction of this house is made of wood tied with rattan rope, not using nails.
The traditional Aceh house is also filled with ornaments that have a certain meaning, such as carvings on the doors and windows of the house. In addition, the room in Aceh's traditional house is also often decorated with traditional Acehnese weapons, such as rencong.
The traditional Aceh house is not only a place to live, but also a symbol of wealth and prestige for the owner. The people of Aceh hold fast to their traditional traditions and maintain the authenticity of this traditional house. Even though Aceh has been modernized, many Acehnese traditional houses still exist today.
