Aaaand I'm back with the second set of images from our couple's day out.
We decided to change outfits and location.
It was during this session that I learnt a valuable lesson: never try to fight the sun! 😅😅😅
It was almost midday, and the cloud cover from the day before was well and truly gone. The harsh sunlight was really bad for portraits, but I did the best I could.
No shoot is complete without my assistant's goofy photo 😂
Let me share some golden nuggets I learnt from this outing.
First of all, when you're in bright sunlight, FIND SHADE! that should be the number 1 priority. Shade will enture that direct, bright light is more diffused.
Secondly, get a giant diffuser. This is an inexpensive alternative, if you absolutely have to shoot in sunlight. There are many 5-in-1 reflectors that have a diffuser.
Next, just avoid the sunny time of day entirely 😂
Shoot early in the morning, or at sunset, to save yourself headaches.
Any advice and suggestions are welcome!

Great shots. They coordinated their colors very well together.
Thank you! 😁
The lady is a tailor (she sewed all her dresses used in the shoot), so she has great fashion sense. It really made my work easier!
The photos ended up really well!!
Good Match of colors
Thank you very much! 😁
The pictures came out great!
Love the colour science of your editing - subtle and yet crisp.
