This morning, we finally departed from the bay after enduring six consecutive days of rain, and for the first time, we were greeted with a bit of sunshine. As we left, a heavy fog surrounded us, making us only see about 5 meters in front of us, which is not pleasant especially when we are going through a tight passage.
After motoring for about 2 hours, we were met with an incredible sight — sea life everywhere. Sea lions were abundant, and it turns out that this bay is home to the largest artificial hatchery for salmon in North America, which explains the rich marine activity.
Had to put a stern line on since the anchorage was so tight….All images by Author.
After dropping anchor, we went ashore for a tour of the hatchery. Unfortunately, photos weren’t allowed, but it was fascinating to see the operations up close. Following the tour, we took a short walk to a massive lake, which boasted a giant waterfall — a truly breathtaking sight.
l tried my best hhahaha...
On our way back, we were lucky enough to capture some stunning shots of bears, usually coming across a bear is quite dangerous but this one, i geuss was used to humans.
As we look towards to the end of this river we can see some sea lions feeding of the salmon.
You can see how many salmon there are, if you look to the bottom right of this picture.
Finally the bear has eaten enough and is leaving.
Amazingly l got a picture of him jumping. It is not everyday that we see a bear...
Well that is all for today thank you a lot for reading. Now we have to listen to the roaring of the bears all night hahahahh.
See you all soon.
Goodbye…
Wow amazing shots, it's not every day we get to see photos of bears in the wild to begin with let alone them jumping. :D

That sunshine must have been a welcome sight after so much rain @konquest, not the mist though, right?
Spectacular sights of nature's wonders! The bear would have been a scary sight even though it went about its own business! You got a good shot in when he jumped like that!
We do live in a beautiful world!
No it is fog. Yes i do not even know how i captured the bear jumping, i geuss i got lucky.
