This quaint market district lies beside the bay inlet with a marina, bridge, and plenty of shops, restaurants, and a variety of markets. It’s a touristy spot called Granville Island that is accessible by land and sea (and air if you jumped off the bridge, but I wouldn't recommend it). My favorite way to get there is via the small ferries that cross the False Creek waters from downtown and other nearby neighbourhoods of Vancouver’s west end. There is a lot to see and do here. I was running some errands and got a chance to take a few snapshots, some of which I took with my Pixel 7 and others with my Olympus TG6 camera.
Marine art and installations everywhere
I call this piece, The Old Sailor
Indigenous and indigenous inspired art permeates the area. This is likely a cougar
A lot of excitement inside the market as the holidays draw near
nom nom nom
I got scolded by a lady once for touching the fruit, but now it looks like there's no supervisor
Ah, the fresh air in the fall is only second to the sunlight in delight

I thought the cougar to be a bear. !LOLZ
Seems like a lovely place to visit. !LUV
It could be a bear. I didn't read the info on it. Bears usually have a larger and rounder profile. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the neighbourhood.
you visited a very interesting market there was some fruit that looked so fresh, and some cakes, what caught my attention was one art that you said was a cougar, but it looked like a tiger
This is a great place with many sights. I didn't have enough time to check everything out. This sculpture is done in the style of traditional indigenous art. We don't have tigers in this part of the world, but we do have cougars, so this animal is likely a "mountain lion", but I could be wrong.
A powerful hectic day at the market
It was a holiday, so people took the time to visit and enjoy the sun.
Oh no wonder
