Mural, Mural on the Wall

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

I was running some errands the other day when I came across a mural that I've never seen before even though I've walked near this area many time over the years. My mind was blown when I decided to cross a parking lot instead of my usual path, and I came across this large piece. The bridge under which it is painted spans the False Creek area connected to English Bay in Vancouver. The mural depicts the sights that you might find along the shore such as the Granville Island market, the Dragon Boat racers who are always on the water all year round (or so it seems), marine life, avian life, dog life, and the small ferry boats that crisscross this beautiful area.

I took the shot with my Olympus TG6 camera, which is not a high-end camera, but a rugged pocket point-a-shoot system, so I like to retouch the images a bit afterwards. I often have trouble determining what is the best way to enhance an image, so I thought, why not retouch it a bit in four different ways and see which one looks best? Then I had another idea, why not share the results and see what readers think?

In your opinion, which image looks the best? Who's the fairest of them all and why? Please let me know in the comments. I already have a favorite, but I won't mention it, so I don't influence your response. Thank you for visiting!

It is buzzing with life. It slowed during the pandemic but now it's slowly regaining its vibrancy. The wild life is always there because they don't follow 'stay at home' orders. :)

What a nice job you give us, you made wonderful captures. Congratulations and thanks for sharing with us @litguru

Thank you, @dayadam! So glad you liked the mural.

It's beautiful, I appreciate that kind of art, every time I get one I take pictures of it to share and if I can tell its story I do it. Have a nice day @litguru ✨🌈

It takes courage and skills to do a mural. You have to see everything up close, so you need a good sense of perspective and visualization as well. 👨‍🎨

very beautiful morals and also very interesting to look at and this is a great mix
