As I feel very flowery today… (is that even a word 🤓)😉 hehehe 🤭 yep… it has a meaning. Let’s go with the obvious one, me thinks!
…I want to share with you some flowers I saw when I was living in the countryside of inland Spain. To be precise in Iznájar ~ Spain.** 🇪🇸 It was about a 20 minute drive down and up mountains to reach the village itself. That was nestled along the lake.
The 12 Photographs I show you in this post are taken with my (late) Canon 550D and 18 - 135 mm lens on 18 April 2015… SPRING TIME. 🌸🌼🌱☀️🐝
Let me show you, what kind of flowers you can find in the Spanish countryside…

As we all need some beautiful things in our daily lives 🥰 #alwaysaflower
The amount of different wildflowers is so large…
From very elegant flowers…
To well known ones. Even this little beetle is enjoying them 😊
When we look around, you can see how many wildflowers there were along the road. A road only 5 cars per week came by. Just the few people that lived on this mountain ⛰
Some of the flowers look spiky… but are not.
Now looking closer to the little casita I lived in, we see some fruits. Like these figs 😎
Or the flowers of the pomegranate 🥰
Above the little casita we see the mountain side covered in yellow flowers.

That sounds like a place I'd want to live in, the mountains that is. I mean; having just 5 cars pass there all week , sounds like a very quite place.

It was a very nice and quiet place. Away from everything. 1 hour drive to a large shop for groceries.
But it did have a garden with fruits and veggies 😉

As winter closes into my region, and I've already got my first brief snowy day, it is nice to revisit the warmer and more colorful days before resuming my repairs and Winterization around my home.
I sooo understand that desire… I had one of those days… and just wanted to share some spring flowers 🌸🌼 it is good to surround ourselves with beauty once winter and dark days arrive.

Wow, the portraits of those flowers you took are lovely. Personally, I like taking pictures where the main subject appears with the background blurred to an extent. Also, I took note of the wildflowers along the road, it will be lovely to capture the effect when a vehicle zooms past. Don't you think?🤔
That’s the kind of pictures I like the most. The background blurred out so the subject stands out perfectly.
It would have been cool to do that. Sadly I don’t live up in the mountains anymore. Now along the sea, I see no wildflowers here.
But we move soon again, so I hope to capture in the spring many new flowers 🥰

Yes, I hardly saw movement on that mountain. Very quite.
I don’t live there anymore and I thought about it. I moved 11 times after that little house. 😳 hahaha in 7 years. Crazy… but hey that’s life.
Next month I move again. !LOL
Yes, it was lovely to stroll around and discover so many different wildflowers along the way. Perfect spring weather it was.

Yep… hahaha 🤣 and you know what, I’m so done with it. It is just getting to much. I would like to settle down and stay in one place. And not move every half to 1 year.

I like them all but my favourite is the one with the small guy minding his own business-the pollen beetle. Good to see it well behaved feeding on pollen or is he having it as a starter and still have plans to eat parts of the flower for main course and nibble on petals for dessert🤔😅. Anyways I wouldn't blame him that yellow follow looks sweet.
Yes, I like that one too. I think the little guy had a 3 course dinner. The petals would be his desert 😉
He was well behaved for this classy dinner. He even decided to pose for me a few moment, for lasting memories of this special day 📸
