I know Jackie, I didn't realize I miss them so much, I am only realizing now, if they visit even my sisters and leave, I feel sad like I want them around me more. While in SA I was acting macho like I didn't miss them much.

Good you do realise it now Joe. As family… even if we act up and pretend we don’t need them… is important.
I notice it now so much, not having a family. Yes, friends are there. But it doesn’t help, me moving around countries. I don’t see them more than once a year as we are far apart… mostly countries hehehe 🤭
Let’s hope I settle here and can find new friends. As it is hard nowadays… especially after covid. People stay more at home than ever. Don’t connect that easily.

The same applies with me Jackie, now am hoping to leave again when I get employment but this time I am not staying away more than a year without visiting home. We have to settle down now lol.
