That is certainly the best thing that one can do when on the road. We also stop at many places whenever we go on a long trip. Some stops are so great that we note them for future visits.
So, I presume that this third stay will be the last before you return home?
Take care Jackie.

Exactly like that, that’s what we do.
Tomorrow morning we go to our fourth stay… last one. Upstate New York. We spend everywhere 4 nights. We arrive in Ireland next Saturday early morning… flying during the evening/night from Friday.
So still a little bit more to explore.
We will be this week in the Hudson valley 😉
Thank you Zac. Have a fantastic new week 👋🏻☀️

Glad that you guys do the same.
So the 4 nights at every stop means that you have 16 nights away. Wow! It sounds so great, as one doesn't have to worry and can explore at leisure. Unfortunately, we can only do 2 nights at a time, and we now have had our two breaks for the year. 2x2 nights.
Hudson valley sounds good and no doubt, I will see it when you post.
Enjoy and take care Jackie and I hope that the new week will also be kind to you guys.

Thank you Zac 😊
We have 15 days… so we can relax and do really what we want.
Hope you can do a few more days one day as you can do so much more… but I know you are busy.

Will do, enjoy your new week too. Hope it started well.

I used to have a 3 week break over December in the 1970s as the construction company's shut down until the new year, but that was the last time that I ever had long breaks again. In fact, it deteriorated so much that for many years I took no breaks. Even when I started the Papillon charity in 2001, for the first 7 years we took no breaks. The we had a burn-out and a few years later we had a very bad burn-out, and so now we take little breaks.

The new week started well as no more rain and hope that you guys also had a good start Jackie.

Wow, that’s a while ago.
I know construction companies shut… in most countries they do.
Sorry to hear it got so bad you didn’t take time off.

I think the little breaks help. You do need to take care of yourselves, to be able to help others better. Think of yourself too. But… I fully understand… sometimes other things are so much more important.

That’s good to hear, no more rain.
We had a great start too. Thank you.
Hope it continues well for you.

Well, I got married at 20 and had one child, then I became a foreman and at 23 I had 3 children 😳
Imagine being a sole breadwinner and having to keep a roof over my children's heads. I had my main job and during the shutdown I did private jobs.

Oh yes and you are right, as we really felt refreshed after the two short breaks. A miracle happened, as a dear friend contacted us, to tell us that she wants to give us some Timeshare points. For either a weekend, or a midweek break and the accommodation will be free. We don't have time at the moment, but I am sure that we will go a bit later in the year.

Thank you, Jackie, and we wish you guys the very same.
