RE: A walk on the trail to the Winsegansett Marshes

That’s a shame, hubby does have a pollen allergy to trees too… but mainly olive trees. So I understand what you mean.
Yes, keep it easy and hope it will help visiting less the trails now the pollen count is high. Bit by bit…
Have a great day further 👋🏻😁

indeed bit by bit is the way, tomorrow its going to be raining in the morning so I wont feel so bad not getting out for a walk :)

That’s such a great excuse… rain hehehe 😉
But yes, I understand. It does make you not feel as guilty for not going out and exercise and take pretty photographs.
Wished it rained a little here. To dry, low humidity, forest fires and to hot already. The summer started way to early. We will probably see no rain until October.

Sorry to hear that wish I could send some of our rain your way ;)

have a good day and weekend

Thanks… the fire is under control at the moment, but it has burned 4866 hectare. Just behind where I live, so it was a bit… to close for comfort for a few days. It started the 8th of June.
It is the area of 3 walks I shared. With the dragonfly path and the one where you would walk over the water paths in Benahavís. The other one was with that steep bit at the end to the castle ruins. Won’t be going there for a while now… sad to see. No news on how it started yet.
It’s looking good now and will be extinguished soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks a lot and you too, have a wonderful day and great weekend 👋🏻😁

I have seen on the news about the fires I didn't know it was so close to you, lets hope they get it contained soon it must be so worrying when it is so close
Indeed so sad to see, but nature is amazing and recovers fairly quickly after fires,

It was just 6km behind me, looking on the roof terrace I could see it all. They did everything with hundreds of firefighters and even the army to keep it away from the coast line/ where the houses are. 6 villages were evacuated, but they are back home now.
They managed it well 🤓 the amount of planes and helicopters that were in the air. Scary…
Right now the smoke is gone luckily 🤞🏻 I see bright blue skies again. Hope it will be extinguished fully soon.

Thanks, yes nature is strong and can recover quickly. 😎

glad the had the resources to be able to fight and contain it, lets hope it all done and dusted soon

Back in MY army days I got called in to fight fires a couple of times, cutting fire breaks etc, very hard work

cheers
