Castle Hohenzollern Part 1

in Photography Lovers3 years ago (edited)

Good evening everyone.
Today, after a long time of looking at this castle, I finally visited it.
Castle Hohenzollern.
It is located within the Zollernalbkreis district, in the province of Baden-Württemberg in Germany.
I passed by it many times, but I never took the time to look at it closely.
Looks great from the outside as well as from the inside, everything is very well preserved.
There are a lot of pictures, so I will publish them in two posts.
Enjoy. 😊

Few kilometers and there we are.

Reached the destination, and now the question is, should I go to the castle by bus or on foot?

After so many stairs, I know why most people take the bus.

After a few hundred steps, there it is.

Now a little more walking and we reached the castle.

Finally the entrance, now rest for a few minutes and let's move on.

The protectors are here.

What a view do they have.

There are many statues, these are just a few.

Still think the earth is round? 😶

They say that today's time is modern, I like this more.

In the middle of the castle in the yard, stands a cannon.
Very good condition, I think it can be used again without any problems.

And we are finally inside.

I'm just wondering how long it took them to light all those candles.
Today just a second.

Just look at these ceilings.

How much they paid attention to every detail in those days.

This is called art. All handmade. Really beautiful.

Many rooms in the castle are small, everything looks much bigger from the outside.
They even had a motion detector back then. I'm just kidding. 😂

Witraż Windows. Even on the windows, they paid attention to every detail.

It seems that I was more interested in what was on the ceiling than on the floor.

Slowly down the stairs and to be continued.
With this picture we end part 1.

Now after this post I can go to sleep, my legs are still falling off from so many stairs. 😂

Part 2 is coming soon.

I hope you enjoyed.

Good night. 😴
