Macro Time

in Photography Lovers2 years ago (edited)

Good evening everyone.
Yesterday I looked through the door towards the terrace and saw something small moving and it got stuck in the fly net.
When I got closer, I noticed that it was a small spider, but I didn't think it would be a jumping spider.
It is so tiny that you can hardly see it with the eye.
As I mentioned in the previous post, I only have extension rings for macro pictures.
I decided to try something new, I came up with the idea through YouTube.
So I ordered a reverse ring through amazon.
Thank you prime for the fast delivery, it arrived today and of course I had to try it right away.
This is the first time I try to take macro pictures like that, so don't blame me for
not having the best focus on the pictures. 😅
I tried my best and these are the pictures I got.

First thought is woooow. This little spider looks fantastic, you would never tell when you look at it with your eyes.

Even the glare of the light from the mini studio can be seen in his eyes.

All great, but that's not it. I wish I could get even closer.

So I added extension rings to the reverse ring and lens.

That's it, but the problem is the light, when you get too close the flash doesn't help, and neither does the light in the studio.

I have several colleagues who are involved in macro photography, so I asked for advice.
Of course they helped and explained exactly how it should be.

The picture is still not completely sharp, but for the first attempt I think it's ok.

The picture is just so you can see the size of the spider compared to a piece of orange.

Now, when I wanted to catch a fly to take a picture, of course there aren't any for half a day, and when you don't need them, they are there wherever you go. 😂

I hope you enjoyed reading and looking at the (slightly blurry) pictures. 🙂

@anitahorvatirl thank you for the advice and instructions, and sorry for having so many questions today. 😅

I wish you all a pleasant evening.

Until the next post.

Good night. 😴

The pictures look really nice. Can't wait for their final form if you are unsatisfied with these. =)

Those jumping spiders are just one of the coolest spiders. Apparently, they have become quite popular recently as pets as well.
