Taraxacum officinale or commonly called Dandelion, is a perennial plant, that is; which blooms every year for two years in a row, in some places it is considered a weed, due to its ease of spreading.
Taraxacum officinale o comúnmente llamada Diente de león, es una planta perenne, es decir; que florece cada año durante dos años seguidos, en algunos sitios es considerada hierba mala, por su facilidad de esparcirse.
In many other places it is a highly sought-after plant, even seeds are sold online, since it has many medicinal uses, its leaves are consumed in salads, and its beautiful and showy flowers are consumed in infusions.
En muchos otros lugares es una planta muy buscada, inclusive se Llegan a vender semillas online, ya que tiene muchos usos medicinales, su hojas son consumidas en ensaladas, y sus bellas y llamativas flores son consumidas en infusiones.
In Mexico it is very common to find these small bushes on the side of roads or paths, in vacant lots or in flower beds of public places, the flowers are very showy, filling the place where they emerge with a yellow beautiful color.
En México es muy común encontrar estos pequeños arbustos a orillas de carreteras o caminos, en terrenos baldíos o bien en jardineras de lugares públicos, las flores son muy llamativas llenando de un bello color el lugar donde llegan a emerger.
It does not reach a large size, in fact it only measures about 30 centimeters and the way to bloom is in small clusters and from the small buttons, little flowers emerge with delicate and elongated intense yellow petals, which as days go by. The seeds are drying and these soft petals become spongy, thus helping the dissemination of their seeds.
No llega a alcanzar un gran tamaño, de hecho llega a medir unos 30 centímetros solamente y la manera de florecer es en pequeños racimos y de los pequeños botones emergen florecillas con delicados y alargados pétalos de color amarillo intenso, que al pasar de los días se van secando, formandose las semillas y esos pétalos suaves se vuelven esponjosos ayudando con ello la diseminación de sus semillas.
