I decided to share with you some of the most emblematic and beautiful places in Bulgaria that I have visited and will visit.
I named the series Amazing Bulgaria, because I believe that's word that best describes my homeland - a small, but vastly beautiful land and the homeland of many people, who became famous around the world.
Today I'll introduce you to Zheravna. A beautiful picturesque village the foot of the largest mountain in Bulgaria - Stara planina", famous for its beautiful nature and birthplace of one of the greatest Bulgarian poets - Yordan Yovkov.
This summer I had the opportunity to visit his house-museum and touch and see his personal belongings.
The village is completely preserved in Revival style, and around 400 people live there in harmony, peace and love.
The area attracts tourists with a natural phenomenon, which is located about 6 km from Zheravna. The waterfall "Sin vir", near the village of Medven, is extremely beautiful, and its known for its bright blue waters swarm a dozen legends about golden treasures, hidden in its depths.
This place also has an eco-village where you can stay overnight in a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.
