It's great fun to be outdoors when the weather is great, especially around December. Usually it rains all day but these days, it’s quite sunny where I live and I decided to use the opportunity to take pictures. Lately, I love visiting the beach though it’s quite far from where I stayed. All the boring conversation, small talks I had to endure on the way with the driver led to a great view. At least, it was worth it.
The place that I visited yesterday was called Pantai Ngobaran, or Ngobaran beach where it has a small temple facing the ocean. I am not gonna lie, this place is similar to some temples in Bali with the ocean view. I visited many of them in Bali and this is the first place that I did in Yogyakarta and perhaps the only temple with such a view.
The main temple is surrounded by flower beds which are beautiful as well. All the flowers around it are blooming and I took some pictures of it like this one below.
The temples were also surrounded by cliffs with clear water splashing it now and then. Since it wasn’t crowded, the sound of waves was serene. And the whole view reminds me of a song called Waves by mr probz. The song played inside my head as I was enjoying the view.
There was a lot of background light that made it quite tricky for me to set the setting. I learned to set the aperture quite high and increase the f number from the aperture. But there’s a setting that I forgot to tweak, the EV setting where I need to adjust the brightness of the image. I got some of this tips and learn from here How to Avoid Taking Too Dark/Light Photos on Camera. But again, I think that general weather and the natural lighting has a great impact on the overall picture. When I arrived at the place, it was cloudy and eventually rained. I wished I could come earlier in the morning but I had something else to attend which was why, I went quite late in the afternoon.

Oh my days, these photos are impressive.
Just a few weeks in and it seemed you've mastered Lightroom and digital photography. 😅
Here's an idea you can try.
When next you set out to the beach, take a long exposure shot of the water. You just need a tripod and a slow shutter speed.
You would love that dreamy feel from the photos.
Great shot. 🙌👏👏
I would try that! I have the tripod at home but just never think about bringing it with me. Getting to the beach requires me to climb down and I was slightly freaking out cause the rocks were sharp. But yeah, now I know how to prepare better in that terrain.
Amazing
I can't wait for what you come up with next. 😁
Amazing pictures

Such beautiful photos, what a view !
Yes, indeed! it was breathtaking.
It is a beautiful view, and nice photography, and the photos would even look better if you would straighten the horizon. Looking forward to seeing more, and the long exposure shots.
Thank you! I am somewhat new to all of this and I just learned something about long exposure shots. I'll have to try it in another week when I go out again. It was also recommended by @stevenson7 too.
Still in awe of these photos.
I have plenty of them in my cameras 😂 I just haven't had the time sorting them out and wonder what else can I use them. Since here, I only showcase some of the best of it.
