It's been a long time since I posted in this community, which, if I remember correctly, was one of the first places where I became active on Hive. I'm glad that after so much time, I'm posting again because I finally took a day off after working non-stop for so long, both outside and within Hive.
Yes, just one day. On February 14th, I went with my wife to celebrate Valentine's Day. It had been a long time since we went out together, just the two of us, and it was also the first time we were both away from our daughter, who is just over a year old. It was quite a challenge to be apart from her, especially for my wife. Even so, we enjoyed the day, which, by the way, started at 3 in the morning so we could head to Varadero and spend the day at the beach. We arrived so early that there were barely any people, so I took the opportunity to snap some photos.
Not everything was about the beach, so we also took the chance to take some photos of ourselves and a few videos. Don’t mind my pale programmer legs from being locked up at home and not having a social life. The sun that day took care of fixing that a bit, so now I’m back in the cave to return to my natural state.
The beach was so empty that even the lifeguard wasn’t near his post. He was probably still sleeping since we were there from 8 in the morning, so it’s understandable.
I say goodbye wondering how many years it will take before I touch the sand of a beach again with this photo of my Hive hat, which the wind kept blowing away. Luckily, no seagull tried to take it. See you next time. Let me know if you’ve ever been to Varadero and how it went for you.
Hace mucho que no publico por esta comunidad que si mal no recuerdo fue de las primeras en donde hice vida en Hive. Me alegra que luego de tanto tiempo sea porque al fin me he tomado un día libre tras tanto tiempo trabajando sin parar, tanto fuera como dentro de Hive.
Sí, solo un día. El pasado 14 de febrero me fui junto a mi esposa a festejar San Valentín. Hacía mucho que no salíamos juntos los dos solos y también fue la primera vez que ambos estuvimos a la vez lejos de nuestra hija, que apenas tiene poco más de un año de vida. Fue todo un reto estar alejados de ella y sobre todo para mi mujer. Aun así disfrutamos el día, que dicho sea de paso, nos levantamos a las 3 de la mañana para poder ir hasta Varadero y pasarnos el día en la playa. Llegamos tan temprano que apenas había personas, así que aproveche la oportunidad para hacer algunas fotos.
Todo no iba a ser acerca de la playa, así que también aprovechamos para hacernos algunas fotos entre nosotros y algún que otro video. No se fijen en mis piernas blancusas de programador encerrado en casa que no hace vida social. Ya el sol de ese día se encargó de arreglarlo un poco, así que vuelvo a la cueva para volver a mi estado natural.
La playa estaba tan vacía que el salvavidas ni andaba cerca de su puesto, de seguro aún estaba durmiendo y es que estábamos ahí desde las 8 de la mañana, así que es normal.
Me despido pensando en cuantos años me demoraré en volver a tocar la arena de una playa con esta fótico de mi sombrero Hiver que el viento se llevaba volando constantemente. Por suerte ninguna gaviota hizo por llevárselo. Nos vemos en la próxima. Déjenme saber si han estado en Varadero alguna vez y que tal les fue.

Definitivamente, se necesita, ya andamos pensando en cuando, podremos escaparnos de nuevo, casi seguro con la niña, esta vez para que también disfrute. Nosotros nos la pasamos en la playa y en el parque Josone básicamente.

Las excursiones salen en 2500 pesos desde La Habana, así que puedes hacerte una idea según donde estés de cuanto pueda ser. te lo recomiendo realmente.
