PHOTOGRAPHY OF TARRAPACANA RAY

CAPEVERDE - 7 PHOTOS

Here are some photographs of one of the largest mobula rays that exists. I was lucky enough to be able to take these photographs just a few meters below my boat. This ray was apparently very curious and attracted by the presence of a new boat in the bay where it is used to evolve. The Tarrapacana ray is easily identifiable thanks to its brown back. It is part of the mobula ray, the most famous being the Manta ray. I share here some photographs.

Interesting that they call them Mobula, because manta rays look very similar - but l suppose they come from the same family eh?

Wonderful post - thank you for sharing;)

this is truly an extraordinary shot

Tks. The ray styaed one hour with me. It's enough time to get a few photos !!!
