An airplane in the snow. Where does it go? Or where did it land? Why? A lot of people, coming and going somewhere. Do we ever wonder where and why? There are many untold stories, each one of these people travelling for a different reason, with a different background. And yet we see, an airplane in the snow. Unusual perhaps. Or better say an unusual perspective that awakes further questions?
We do see so many airplanes on everyday basis, flying everywhere, be it in person or seeing them flying above us on the sky. But this one got me thinking, I wanted to capture my genuine surprise by seeing it land, almost as if it were landing on the snow instead of the runway or being dispersed somewhere in the mountains. Wonder.
Airplanes can take us anywhere. Summer or winter. Day or night. Different time zone. Different country or continent. Different life. Different lifestyle. Personally, I took many of them and I still continue taking them, for different reasons. So do other people. And some never or almost never do. Airplanes are sometimes even taken for granted. What would people from the Middle Age say about it? Incredible to even contemplate the idea of that thought.
The airplane next to the snow looks quite impressive, because it evokes some kind of a respect and fear at the same time. What about unexpected weather and storms? Nevertheless, we still fly, courageous, to any direction, come what may.
Many passengers, many stories, many reasons. All part of the same world.
But the most interesting story is our own, that we get to write in person.
So we take an airplane and fly.
Above the sky, like birds, daring to reach and see the unknown.
