There are many games in life and we are all players, each one of us playing our own game.
Playing golf reminds me of being players in our own life. We play for ourselves. Against ourselves. We don’t compete, unless it’s a competition, but still, it’s mostly a game with ourselves, not with someone else.
It requires patience, concentration and motivation. Basically the three ingredients that help us get through our life by achieving our personal goals. Still, at the same time, it’s fun, that very instant and the moment, where you look right at the ball, meaning to send it the direction you want to send it. If you don’t angle it well or you look away too fast or even if you change your position, the ball will be sent to the wrong direction. It just takes a second. Like in life. And then everything goes the wrong direction.
But you can try again. It’s not about hitting harder, there’s no need for your strength if you don’t use the right technique that helps you move the ball with the right golf club. There’s a right golf club for every person and situation. So, the same as it is in life, you can try again, by using the right tool. Be it a new experience, a new goal, motivation, knowledge or aspiration.
When everything is aligned and set, you know that it’s a good shot, only by hearing the sound. It’s similar to having that same feeling of doing something the right way, just knowing it, because you are already feeling it.
Before the ball is hit, there’s a focus, an undivided attention, when things and everything around us calms down and time feels briefly pausing, where your look becomes one, the focus, blended together with the excitement and strong peace. Concentration. Being in the moment.
The right hit, good shot, great satisfaction.
The wrong hit, bad shot, temporary disappointment.
There’s always one way how things can go. In order to see which direction they will go, we need to hit the ball first. And be the game players of our life game. So, let’s start that game.
Send it to the mountains, to the whole world. Our message, be out there.

I love playing golf. It doesn’t matter if I play it well or bad, as long as I get the chance to play it.
