Hello hive friends how are you all? I hope you are always healthy. tonight I want to share my photography results about roses, namely white roses and red roses.
The rose is one of the most popular flowers among the people because it is a symbol of love and beauty.
The rose is one of the oldest flowers in the world. Reporting from the University of Illinois Extension, found fossil evidence of roses that are 35 million years old in nature.
Rose is a type of shrub plant from the genus Rosa as well as the name of the flower produced by this plant. Wild roses consist of more than 100 species, mostly growing in the northern hemisphere, which is cool.
Rose species are generally thorny shrubs or climbing plants that can reach 2 to 5 meters in height. Although rarely found, the height of roses that propagate on other plants can reach 20 meters. Most species have leaves that are between 5-15 cm long with two opposite (pinnate).
The characteristics of white roses are:
- The flowers are white with a very fragrant aroma.
- The stems are thorny, but smooth and slippery.
Compound leaves which each petiole consists of at least 3 or 5 to 9 or 13 leaflets and supporting leaves (stipules) oval in shape, pinnately boned, edged with ridges, tapering at the tips of the leaves and spiny on the stems close to the ground. Roses are not actually tropical plants, most species lose their leaves completely and only a few species in Southeast Asia are always green throughout the year.
The flowers consist of 5 petals with the exception of Rosa sericea which only has 4 petals. Among the colors possessed by roses are white, pink, yellow and blue in some species. The ovaries are on the underside of the corolla and petals.
The length of the rose stalk can reach 2.5 cm, the color looks gray with bell-shaped petals. The shape of the flower itself is generally round, located at the end of the stem or branch.
The pattern of this plant is very distinctive with various color variations, such as red, yellow, white, orange and so on.
The characteristics of red roses are as follows:
- The flower petals are red with a very beautiful shape.
- The stems have sharp thorns and the leaves are serrated on the sides.
