At my university, among all faculties, an artistic competition of amateur artistic activity "Student Spring 2024" was held. There were three genres in total - video performance, vocals and dance, where each of the faculties had the opportunity to present their talents. However, we do not forget about the situation in the state, so we placed a donation box in the hall and organized a charity auction.
This event is one of the largest in our university, but this year it broke all records. The number of people willing to come and support their faculty was so great that the venue was overcrowded. If last year the hall was filled to 110% for the first time, then this year – to 150%, there is a catastrophic shortage of seats, and this is very pleasant for us! The air in the hall vibrates with the beating of the audience's hearts.
It should be noted that the event started a day ago, video presentations from each of the faculties were posted on the Uzhgorod National University uzhnu.today page on Instagram. If in other genres the winners share the traditional 3 prize places, which are determined by the jury, then at this stage the "audience sympathy" nomination was added. After summarizing the results for it based on a large number of views, such faculties as dentistry and medicine got into it. And according to the results of the jury's assessment in this competition, the third place was shared by the faculties of tourism and international communications, the two second places were shared by participants from international economic relations and chemistry and ecology, and the favorite was the faculty of information technologies.
But on May 16, the second part of "Student Spring" took place. The event started with the performances of the participants in the vocal competition. The support from the hall was incredible, the audience sang the motifs, each number was accompanied by thunderous applause. The third place was taken by the undisputed favorite of the hall, a participant from the medical faculty No. 2, the second place was taken by law and geography, and the first place was again won by the medical department.
