Long time no see! 🤗
In case you wondered how I've been, I'm doing fine, going at a fast paced day by day with lots of stuff happening here and there. But overall, I'm great. I hope its the same for you.
Right now, I'm waiting for my son to finish his swimming lesson and because there are no moms here today to chat with 🤔, I have this one hour for myself to spend it, sitting on a bench 🤪. So its perfect time to share something, considering its almost three weeks again since my last post.
In my drafts I found these photos, probably I wanted to share them other time.
These photos are taken in Constanta, Romania. It's not my first time sharing about this city, but in case you dont know, Constanta is the major seaside city in Romania.
Constanta is the biggest harbor on Black Sea in Romania.
The photos are taken just in the middle of Constanta City, where there's a big area with cafees, restaurants and other entertaining activities for both locals and tourists.
Last year, when we visited our friends who live by the sea in Constanta City, we went for a late walk in the area, that being the moment when I took these photos.
You know I love taking photos, so I took a few. I hope you enjoy them!

Here in the Port (harbour) there's a huge Ferris Wheel, named Tomis Eye; and people, tourists mostly, use to take a ride when in town in order to have a beautiful panoramic view over the city of Constanta, by the Black Sea.
The Wheel is beautiful at night, with all these bright colors shinning in the dark. Ofc I took some photos, some of them I would say are amazing if taken in details.
All photos are taken with my phone, Samsung S21 Ultra. I didnt use filters or effects. Not that I wouldnt love to, but I just dont find time these days to edit photos 😁. Overall, I think they are beautiful as they are and dont need to much working on them.

I wanted to live in Constanta in the early part of my youth. It seemed to me the most that could be achieved in Romania was to be close to the sea. Instead of Constanta, I was assigned to Sf. Gheorghe, in the mountains. It wasn't bad but I didn't really feel in Romania...
I like to see that you love Constanta and its surroundings. It's patriotic, I love Romania and we should all love our country... There are so many wonderful places here. Still, no matter how beautiful and special a place is, there has to be something to make it attractive. I believe that people are just as important, if you didn't have some dear friends in Constanta you wouldn't be so attached, I think.
I'm so glad for such a good time you have now and the life that fulfills you fully. I hope you may go on forever!

Ohh. Sf Gheorghe is totally a different landscape than the sea. I can totally understand why you didnt feel in Romania. 🙄 however, it's a lovely area there, with all the mountains around and the nature. And yet, I think I would have choose Cta as well.
Now that you say it I realize it must be precisely as you said 100%. Its all about the people. We didnt always like Romanian Sea and Constanta and...
Mamaia. But in the last few years, since our friends became our family and we go there regularly, I love Mamaia and our sea. I would go once a year in summer, every year, even if I would go somewhere else, for example Greece or Spania or Italy, you name it, just to see our sea and them.
And probably if they wouldnt live there...I wouldnt be soo attached. Just as you said.
I also love our country and this is something pretty new...but I'm happy I feel this way.

Thank you for agreeing, I must say I was sure you did. Friendship is magical when you're lucky enough to find true friends. My wife and I find that friends are often closer than relatives..., you know that saying that you can't choose your relatives... We have had excellent friends all our lives and still have a few that we have known for over 30 years. I wish the same for you!
This year was special for us. We made it to Balchik three times, twice with friends. I wish you to go to Cta more often too, even though it's much farther away from you than Balchik is from me... Anyway, I think you have to make the most of this year because next year will probably be harder.
Yes, I agree to pray for happiness and beauty in our lives and hope that someone will hear them.

Well, this year we traveled less then our past years but thats Ok. One trip to the sea will be just perfect! And the next one, we'll see. But its good you got to travel this year much more, and in a location you love. So happy for you!

For me it is a good year too, one happy year but in other ways. I am truly happy with everything thats happening in my life right now :)

I only managed to explore Constanta by night once, and it felt so magical! Especially when you get by the beach and don't have much of a sight but hear the waves hitting the shore. I miss those sounds!
Ooohh, Yes, I hear u! the sound of waves in the dark is special, I'm guessing for us who dont live by the sea! I miss the sound of waves too, day or night, it doesnt matter. If I dont go this year at the sea, I'll be so frustrated! If only one day..🌊🩵🤦♀️

There are some nice ferris wheel all over the place, maybe one day you'll get to be in one! And yes, this looks beautiful in the night, because of all the colorful lights!

They transferred me to a place in my city "La Vereda del Lago" that is somewhat similar to the second of your photos. This is located in Mracaibo, Zulia state - Venezuela and it is a very beautiful and touristy place where people go out on a family trip, visit this place and take beautiful photos.
