Frozen Scenery (photos after an ice storm)

in Photography Lovers4 years ago (edited)

The other day we had an ice storm which left everything covered in a layer of ice. I captured a lot of cool images I figured I would share.

This is how it looked the night before. So peaceful.

It was both beautiful and eerie to see these bushes covered in the ice.

I like how it weighed the branches and leaves down.

It was also cool to see how the ice covered the whole form of plant.

This whole Bush seems to have turned to crystal! It was truly a crazy sight.

I have a lot more photos, but I will have to upload them in a different post. I have to pick the best ones. It was a unique experience to witness, and I found it mesmerizing. I hope you also enjoyed it.

It’s crazy to see things frozen over. I imagine all of the tiny organisms that were on the plants which are frozen in time.
Great photos!

Yes, those are cool pictures. We get those every so often where I live and it really is spectacular to see. It's hard to believe that it can just cover everything so symmetrically. But it does. It IS cool to see the branches bend down but when they start taking out power lines, that's when it's not quite so pleasant. Thanks for sharing...

This plants look so cool 🙄

oohh... that cooks cold

Yep, it was.
