Death Valley is a place where the highest temperature on Earth was ever recorded - 56.7°C (134.1°F). However during winter it is a very pleasant place to visit. This shot is from a Christmas Day sunset a few years ago. Looking forward to visiting again this spring for some Milky Way photography!
These colorful clay and mudstone badlands can be seen from Zabriskie Point in the park.
Sunset at the lowest point in North America (282 feet/85 meters below sea level). These salt flats form fascinating patterns and the hexagon in the front lined up nicely with the setting sun and mountains in the distance. I may have spent a few hours looking for my favorite hexagon 😛.

I wish that this would be true for our winters, but our winters are cold (often below -20 °C). The summer can be around 40 °C.
Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
Thank you! I'm from Poland, so I know a lot about cold winters :)

Thank you!
Damn that's hot, no wonder it's called Death Valley x_x
Those rocks look so cool!
Those salt flats are quite fascinating. Did you investigate every single hexagon? ;D
There's many miles of them, so that would take many days
Incredible light and colors. Great work! It's a fascinating place which I would love to visit once again.
These are both breathtaking, but that bottom one especially blows me away! Death Valley looks like a photographer's paradise!
It is! Can't wait to go back soon.
