Crazy summer in Cymru (Wales)

So it's been a very busy summer and a long time since I posted here...

In August, my family and I went on a road trip through Wales. We started off in North wales, visiting the small town of Portmeirion.
Portmeirion village in Gwynedd is known as little Italy in Wales and for good reason. The architecture within the enclosed village is unlike anything you'll see in the UK and the proximity to the river makes for some stunning views (even though it was a cloudy day)

After a well spent day here, we made our way down to Mid Wales. We stayed overnight in a small town called Aberystwyth in Caredigion. This was a surprisingly beautiful town with a unique pebble beach next to the cliff railway. We didn't go with much expectations, but sure are glad we managed to explore this gorgeous location. The views from the top of the cliff are definitely worth viewing and i would recommend walking down to fully take in the surroundings!

Last on our itinerary was a trip down to South Wales where we spent a day in Tenby. Now this was definitely the busiest place we visited and it was easy to see why. Even without getting a chance to ride on the popular boat trips around St Catherine's Island, just walking around the beach and taking some stunning shots was a great experience in its own!

And finally, a view of St Catherine's Island...
