Hello Hivers friends. How are you guys today? May you always be given health and joy. Today's weather in the city where I live, Samarinda, East Kalimantan, has entered the dry season since the beginning of last December. Many people are welcoming the arrival of the dry season because from October to November, our city rains for days a week.
However, this joy did not last long when it was in the middle of last December. The temperature in my city once reached 41°C. Is this something that is not fair? Of course for us this is a very unnatural temperature. The highest air temperature in Indonesia, especially in my city, is only 34°C.
The effects of the long dry season in my city on my current body are:
- Lips become dry and chapped
- deep heat
- the skin becomes darker and drier
- hair is red
- easy body limp
- eyes feel hot and dry
It's all the effects of hot weather during this dry season. There are also other bad effects that I feel are the shrinking of water in wells and running out of drinking water stocks. The drinking water that I use is rainwater. So, without rain water I will not get any more water stock during the dry season.
That's my article about the long dry season. I hope that the dry season in my current place will end and hopefully I can get another supply of clean water for cooking and drinking.

Halo sobat Hivers. Bagaimana dengan kabar kalian hari ini? Semoga kalian selalu diberi kesehatan dan kegembiraan. Cuaca hari ini di kota ku tinggal, Samarinda, yang sejak awal bulan Desember lalu memasuki musim kemarau. Banyak orang yang menyambut datangnya musim kemarau karena sejak bulan Oktober hingga November, kota kami diguyur hujan selama berhari-hari dalam seminggu.
Namun, kegembiraan ini tidak berlangsung lama ketika berada di pertengahan bulan Desember lalu. Suhu di kota ku pernah mencapai 41°C. Apakah hal ini adalah hal yang tidak wajar? Tentu bagi kami ini adalah suhu yang sangat tidak wajar. Suhu udara di Indonesia, terutama di kota ku paling tinggi hanya di 34°C.
Efek dari kemarau panjang yang ada di kota ku pada tubuh saat ini adalah:
- bibir menjadi kering dan pecah pecah
- panas dalam
- kulit menjadi lebih gelap dan kering
- rambut berwarna merah
- tubuh mudah lemes
- mata terasa panas dan kering
Itu semua adalah efek dari cuaca panas selama musim kemarau ini berlangsung. Ada juga efek buruk yang lainnya yang kurasakan adalah menyusutnya air di sumur dan kehabisan stok air minum. Air minum yang ku gunakan adalah air hujan. Jadi, tanpa air hujan aku tidak akan mendapatkan stok air lagi selama musim kemarau masih berlangsung.
Itulah artikel ku tentang musim kemarau yang panjang. Aku berharap semoga musim kemarau di tempat ku saat ini akan berakhir dan semoga aku bisa mendapatkan stok air bersih lagi untuk memasak dan minum.
