I have the habit of appreciating the photographs I take, especially when they have a story behind them. The ones I want to share with you today have a great meaning for me. Let me tell you about them:
Some time ago some friends invited me to the theater. I admit that I don't go very often, but given the invitation and the desire to share, I accepted. The play was " La Zapatera prodigiosa", written by Federico García Lorca, which tells the story of a young shoemaker trapped in a marriage with a much older shoemaker. Frustrated with her life and eager for more exciting experiences, the cobbler faces gossip and misunderstandings in her community, but also demonstrates her wit and strength of character.
Tengo la costumbre de cogerle aprecio a las fotografías que hago, y más cuando tienen una historia detrás. Las que quiero compartir con ustedes hoy tienen un gran significado para mí. Ya les cuento:
Hace un tiempo me invitaron unos amigos al teatro. Reconozco, que no voy con mucha frecuencia, pero dada la invitación y los deseos de compartir, la acepté. La obra en función era La Zapatera prodigiosa, escrita por Federico García Lorca, que narra la historia de una joven zapatera atrapada en un matrimonio con un zapatero mucho mayor que ella. Frustrada por su vida y ansiosa por vivir experiencias más emocionantes, la zapatera enfrenta chismes y malentendidos en su comunidad, pero también demuestra su ingenio y fuerza de carácter.
Needless to say, I felt like a kid with new toys, because I had recently bought a camera and wanted to test it by taking pictures in this kind of events. No experience at all, I was used to taking pictures of animals in the woods, I had no idea what it would be like in a theater.
The first photo I did not realice and the flash was activated, I blinded the actors since I was sitting in the front row, they called my attention which made me very embarrassed, I said to myself, well here you have to pick up the spirit of the play and nothing better given the circumstances than a long exposure, with it I wanted to create a visual connection between the narrative and the spirit of the shoemaker and her struggle for freedom.
De más está por decirles que me sentía como niño con juguetes nuevos, porque había comprado recientemente una cámara y quería probarla haciendo fotos en este tipo de eventos. Experiencia ninguna, acostumbrado a hacer fotos en los bosques a animales, no tenía ni idea cómo sería en un teatro.
La primera foto no me di cuenta y se activo el flash, deje ciego a los actores puesto que estaba sentado en primera fila, me llamaron la atención lo que me dio mucha vergüenza, me dije, bueno aquí hay que recoger el espíritu de la obra y nada mejor dadas las circuntancias que una larga exposición, con ella quise crear una conexión visual entre la narrativa y el espíritu de la zapatera y su lucha por la libertad.
In the end at least I had a great time, I took my pictures, the only thing I think they will not let me enter that theater anymore, well, at least I have the experience in case there is a next time, no flash. Jajajajaja.

Al final por lo menos lo pase muy bien, hice mis fotos , lo único creo no me dejaran entrar más a ese teatro, bueno, al menos me queda la experiencia por si hay una próxima vez, nada de flash. Jajajajajaja.

Gracias brother, ese día pasé un trabajo para hacerlas porque no sabía cómo hacerlo con tanta oscuridad y la cámara que no era buena para ese tipo de fotos fue fatal, al final decanté por la larga exposición Jjjjj
