In this post, I want to share a story and some photos about my trip to a museum in the city of Aceh province, Indonesia. This Mesium is a place to introduce the special customs and culture of Aceh province.
So, this trip took me to Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province, to explore its rich culture and history at the Aceh Museum. This museum, founded in 1915, is one of the oldest museums in Indonesia and is a great place to learn about Aceh's unique customs and cultural heritage HISTORY OF THE ACEH MUSEUM
Entering the museum, I was greeted by charming traditional Acehnese architecture, with its curved roofs and intricate carvings. In the museum, I was presented with various collections of historical objects that tell the story of Aceh's past.
One thing that caught my attention was a collection of several cannons on display outside the building. This cannon is a relic of the royal era in the past when the kingdom of Aceh was at war with the Dutch.
Apart from that, in this museum there are also various ancient writings or manuscripts about past kingdoms. Aceh has historical value that is very interesting to know. Therefore, everyone who visits the city of Aceh Province. The Aceh Museum is one of the places that must be visited. Because all the information about Aceh is there.
