@tattoodjay I am a 3rd generation commercial fisherman, but in Florida, down here the lobster traps are all made of wood. I am not sure these are lobster traps but they might use these for them up north. Also, the escape rings in the traps are mighty small to be for lobster. Escape rings are placed in traps to let the undersized ones escape. I would like to know what they are, maybe next time you can ask someone what they are for. Scallops are caught with trawls.
