The beauty of trusting you [Eng/Esp]

After doing this session and finishing the editing of the pictures, the first thing I did was to send them to the model so she could observe the final result, I remember perfectly her response after seeing them, she wrote "Thank you for making me get out of my bubble and thank you for giving me back my confidence" and after analyzing a little bit that, I ended up thinking that, although I really appreciate her thanks, I did nothing more than capture the person she is, whatever the attitude you see in the pictures, the confidence, the sensuality, it's all part of her, maybe it was just overshadowed by insecurities and she just needed a little push to get back to herself.

Luego de realizar esta sesión y terminar la edición de las fotografías, lo primero que hice fue enviarlas a la modelo para que pudiese observar el resultado final, recuerdo perfectamente su respuesta después de verlas, escribió “Gracias por hacerme salir de mi burbuja y gracias por devolverme mi confianza” y después de analizar un poco eso, terminé pensando que, realmente aunque aprecio su agradecimiento, yo no hice más que capturar la persona que es, todo lo que sea la actitud que ven en las fotografías, la seguridad, la sensualidad, todo es parte de ella, quizás sólo estaba opacado por inseguridades y sólo necesitaba un pequeño empujón para volver a reencontrarse consigo misma.

If there is something I love about taking pictures of people, especially portraits, is that people feel happy with the result, that they see exactly what the camera sees when it focuses on them and return that which sometimes, like my friend Albelys, they forget, because I think it is not something that is lost, it is something that you get used to look at so many times that you end up losing value and minimizing it to some extent, but once you look at it from another perspective, like the way another person sees you, it takes on that charm again.

Si hay algo que me encanta de realizar fotografías a personas, en especial retratos, es que la gente se sienta feliz con el resultado, que vean exactamente lo que ve la cámara cuando les enfoca y devolver aquello que en ocasiones, como a mi amiga Albelys se les olvida, porque considero que no es algo que se pierde, es algo que se acostumbra a mirar tantas veces que se le termina perdiendo valor y minimizando hasta cierto punto, pero una vez que lo observas desde otra perspectiva, como lo es la forma en que te ve otra persona, vuelve a tomar ese encanto nuevamente.

My friend Albelys wants to get out of her comfort zone, lately she enrolled in dance classes, she got a new job that keeps her pretty close to nature, she ended up doing a photo shoot with me which was something totally new for her and I really love to see her like this, she is trying to get to know herself again or maybe be a better version of herself. I wish these pictures were just the memory of when it all started, when she felt alive again, that's what photography is all about, isn't it? Capturing special moments of a before, not knowing what the future holds.

Mi amiga Albelys quiere salir de su zona de confort, últimamente se inscribió en clases de baile, consiguió un nuevo trabajo que la mantiene bastante cerca de la naturaleza, terminó haciendo una sesión de fotos conmigo que era algo totalmente nuevo para ella y realmente me encanta verla así, intenta conocerse nuevamente o quizás ser una versión mejor de ella misma. Deseo que estas fotografías sean justo el recuerdo de cuando todo empezó, cuando volvió a sentirse viva, de eso se trata la fotografía, ¿no? Capturar momentos especiales de un antes, sin saber lo que el futuro depara.

I'm sorry if my words were not so related to photography, but it was something I really wanted to share with you, maybe for some people it will also make them feel like me and think for a moment that the idea of getting out of their comfort zone is not bad at all, applying that in my life, I want to take pictures of all kinds, different concepts, different locations, different models, I think it will be something fun and will bring with it good stories and moments to tell you around here.

Lo siento mucho si mis palabras no fueron tan relacionadas con la fotografía, pero era algo que tenía muchas ganas de compartir con ustedes, quizás para alguna persona también le haga sentir como a mi y piense por un momento que la idea de salir de su zona de confort no está nada mal, aplicando eso mismo en mi vida, quiero hacer fotografías de todo tipo, distintos conceptos, distintas locaciones, distintos modelos, pienso que será algo divertido y traerán consigo buenas historias y momentos para contarles por aquí.
