One of the most important occasions that Bengalis observe when they are getting married is indeed their own kind of wedding ceremony which is called Gaye Yellow. The traditional wedding ceremony is only performed once or briefly before the actual wedding and is held just outside of the wedding event for the bride and the groom. However, the actual start of the disease is different.
It occurs every few days in the area but more often in the previous few days in our region. For the bride and groom the turmeric paste message written on the face that is also being distributed out to convey best wishes for their union. It is a chore that young girls and boys take, usually performed by the other younger siblings.
During the event, members of the family, friends, and other close people are expected to attend, and with the music being a great addition, one would get the impression that the event is quite welcoming. The turmeric was applied to the body of the bride or groom during the ceremony and as in the past when used as treatment for skin problems to carry the spiritual and auspicious value.
The entire participants are gathered here, all dressed in golden yellow costumes that also look like that yellow and the golden combination is frequently seen. But that was all we were wearing and it was all Punjabi. In that we chose to use as our Punjabi color. To complement the seat set for the bride and groom, some wedding items and elements are given to the bride and groom, which would align with their marriage.
Songs, dancing, games, and other fun things that everyone in the family is doing together is what the main part of this. The main menu contains options that cover the three categories; food items in sweet, savory and hot form. It is more than just an action and is also a representation of a tie between the two families. Exposes its fondness for having children.
This too has significance and is particularly beneficial when henna is being applied to the bride’s hands. It is amazing that people of this place get so happy to hear their love stories being heard on TV.
