The flowers turn my mood delighted. So if I see one, I smile. It doesn't matter if it's my favorite or not, as long it captures my eyesight.
One lazy afternoon, to lighten my mood because of dysmenorrhea, my hubby invited me to visit the clubhouse to grasp some fresh air. Since I was quite grumpy and wanted to divert it, I said yes. I was also hungry at the same time, so I wanted to eat since there are food stalls in the area. So we got the key and drove to the clubhouse.
Since it was on the weekend, we expected to see people swimming in the pool. But we just went on and proceed to the area where foods were available. It was located across the pool. It was a good thing that there were no people, except us, buying some food. We ordered our favorite Siomai, seasoned with soy sauce, Calamansi, and chili sauce. Also, hubby bought milk tea. We ate them there, enjoying the view of the ocean and waiting for the sun to set off.
After we ate, we decided to have a walk. I noticed that there were a lot of flowers and they are blooming. It was quite a while that we haven't done a photo walk. I was hesitant to take photos because it was 5 pm up and the sunlight was about to dim. Plus, I was not feeling well. But I was captured by its beauty so I gave in. I just took photos of the subjects near the bench we seated. I used my smartphone. There were colors like yellow, pink, and white. As I jump from one flower to another, I noticed that my grumpy mood lightens. I guess nature works, it does, always.
Plumeria Pudica

- Tabernaemontana divaricata
- Nerium oleander
- Cosmos sulphureus
- Ixora coccinea
- Agave vivipara
We saw that the clouds turned darker and the people were also started leaving, so hubby called it a day. I was quite hesitant to leave because I enjoyed what we were doing. He allowed me to stay for a couple of minutes. Then after taking a few shots, we proceed to the parking area and leave. And when we arrived at the house, a few minutes after, it rained. It was almost six in the evening. I scanned the photos that I took earlier and I was happy to see all of them. Though the lightings affects the clarity of it, but still, they were good. We used to have this photo walk way back when we were still in our hometown. So it has really been a while after we moved-in here in the city.
In capturing something, I need to feel that thing. Even how beautiful it is, if I don't appreciate what I see, I don't click. As my hubby said, my eyes are the ones who see the real beauty of the subject. And I guess it works all the time.
