I am writing to you from a city in the north of Spain, Santander. With a port facing the Cantabrian Sea this beautiful autumn morning loaded with rain, with large storm clouds that threatened to unload and did so. A walk through the city to take some images of the center of this historic city takes me from its town hall to the vicinity of its large seaport. When I am almost reaching the port, the water begins to fall and I have to take shelter, the rain becomes intense and for me it is a great opportunity to take those difficult images, with wind, water and little light.

Os escribo desde una ciudad al norte de España, Santander. Con puerto al mar cantábrico esta hermosa mañana de otoño cargado de lluvia, de grandes nubarrones que amenazaban con descargar y así lo hicieron. Un paseo por la ciudad para tomar algunas imágenes del centro de esta histórica ciudad me lleva desde su ayuntamiento hasta las cercanías de su gran puerto marítimo. Cuando estoy ya llegando casi al puerto el agua empieza a caer y debo resguardarme, la lluvia se pone intensa y para mi es una gran oportunidad de tomar esas difíciles imágenes, con viento, agua y poca luz.
Una ciudad cosmopolita en la cual hay siempre un gran movimiento comercial y financiero ya que es una de las capitales más importantes de este país. Sus edificios señoriales, bien cuidados y conservados, son una joya de arquitectura de Europa y me recuerdan a viajes que realice a centro Europa con características muy similares. La ciudad es una joya en cuanto a limpieza, orden y ubicación al norte de la península Ibérica, España. He tratado en esta serie de recoger puntos significativos de su centro aunque he podido tomar muchas más fotografías de otras partes de la ciudad y quizás con otra temática distinta.
La parte de la selección de algunas imágenes y el proceso de edición es algo ya característico en mis publicaciones. Trate de darle un toque distinto a estas fotos, ya que como algunas personas sabéis, me encanta enredar y buscar ese sello propio que las caracterice y distinga, saludos amigos.
