Takengon is located in Central Aceh, one of the highest areas in Aceh Province. This area is known as a producer of Arabica gayo coffee, which has made Aceh and Indonesia proud.
Apart from being a producer of gayo coffee and vegetables. Central Aceh also has a rafting place with three categories:
- Normal Rapids Arum
- Heavy Rapids Rush
- Very Heavy Rapids
We chose to go for standard rafting because we were bringing children. This is a vacation for us as a family that can rarely be done. It was a school holiday, so that we could leave at the right time.

Takengon terletak di Aceh Tengah, salah satu daerah paling tinggi di Provinsi Aceh dan daerah ini dikenal sebagai penghasil kopi gayo Arabika yang telah mengharumkan Aceh dan Indonesia.
Selain sebagai penghasil kopi gayo dan sayuran. Aceh Tengah juga memiliki tempat Arung Jeram dengan 3 kategori :
- Arum Jeram Normal
- Arum Jeram Deras
- Arum jeram Sangat Deras
Kami memilih untuk arum jeram normal karena kami membawa anak-anak. Ini adalah liburan kami sekeluarga yang jarang-jarang sekali bisa. Kebetulan liburan sekolah jadi kami bisa pergi dengan waktu yang tepat.
Dengan pemandangan yang indah, pemandangan alam sekitar akan memanjakan mata kita, tertarik untuk pergi ke Takengon Aceh Tengah ?
