Look what I found in the same tree where the weaver built his nest.
We didn't know that squirrels eat the green fruits of this tree.
This female squirrel was an unwanted visitor, but thankfully as she appeared, the cape weaver was not around. I would so have loved for the weaver to dive bomb the squirrel, to show you what the weavers do, but the nest was new, and there was no life inside the nest yet. If there was then the male weaver would be constantly patrolling the area. Maybe the weaver took a lunch break, and just as well, as the squirrel departed before the weaver arrived.
A real acrobatic lady.
Did I tell you that the squirrel was in the same tree as the new weaver nest?
I also wanted to show you the blue flowers that popped up between the pincushions.
The yellow pincushions at the left, of the photo above, is where I get one of my favorite birds. The Malachite Sunbird below.
Back to the squirrel to show you some more moves.
This was the last photo that I got of her as she disappeared into the trees.
Mother Nature has the habit of giving us many surprise views, and this squirrel was active right above the table where we sat to have coffee. Several times she dropped leaves on my wife's head, and every time my wife burst out in laughter. We have a lot of fun at this coffee house, as when the squirrels are here in the trees in full force, they often drop leaves and acorns down on the guest below. Some of the guests act in surprise and others complain to the management. As if the management can tell the squirrels to stay away. Lol.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Thank you kindly for supporting this post.
All the pictures are good but the first picture is still the favorite, the squirrel is very relaxed enjoying the fresh leaves.
Thank you, and the squirrel did indeed have a very relaxing pose. !LOLZ
