We like to visit the rocky parts on the beach.
Freedom beckons to our minds whenever we walk on the beach.
The wind was up, and the sea was still sulking from the effects of the recent full moon. I think by now that you know that the full moons control the ocean tides, and like a small child that cannot get a sweet, the sea was throwing a tantrum. It seems that at night, it is even worse because the high tide flowed tons of sea sand over on to the beach road. The sunlight glinted on the waves with flashes that looked like an army with drawn swords. The fairy lights on the water flickered on and off.
Come and see what I have to share and let your mind stroll along with us to drink in the beauty.
This was towards the left-hand side of the sunspot on the sea.
Look at that! Some real beauty on this beach.

The big dog asked the smaller dog if he thinks that they could eat a big crab.
But when the big crab lifted his pinchers, the dogs ran away. Phew, he thought, that crab could snip my nose off.
Now watch the action in the 2 photos below. As the wave smashes into the rocks, it pulls back, and another incoming wave smashes into the receding wave.
Look how the two waves collided. One outgoing and the other incoming.
A flurry of gulls and terns rose up from the river mouth at our approach.
Sheer serenity to enjoy on a barefoot stroll in the shallows.
All calm in the area above, and I think it is due to our mountain range running into the sea as it forms a barrier against the big waves coming in further up. As we drove back along the beach road, into the popular areas, it was packed with people and even some kite surfers. A promenade runs along the side of the road, between the sea and the road, and that's where everyone is doing their stuff, like models on a catwalk. We only visit that part of the beach out of season when it is deserted. Now that the December holidays are close by, thousands of people will descend upon the beaches with no parking available for miles. The clever thing to do, would be to book into a seafront property, as then a person just needs to cross the road to get to the beach on foot.
Such is life.
