...and the stormy summer clouds provided a perfect backdrop.
I only took 16 shots of the sunset and decided to split it into two separate posts, as the second post of the sunset will be totally different.
In order to understand the second post, one would have to have seen this one, as the two posts are intrinsically linked. One can only just stare at the beautiful wonderworks in the sky, and a cool breeze was so welcome after a very hot day. We have some very topsy-turvy weather here. One day cool, and the very next day in the high 30Cs. Recently, there were some severe floods in the KZN province that claimed some lives and destroyed many homes. We also see similar weather all over the world, and its really a madhouse lately.
But I digress. Come and watch the sunset.
As we arrived, this picture below was the first view that we had of the sunset.
And ever so slowly, the sun crept out of its tree cover.
I saw this pine tree down the road, and we moved there for me to get the sun at the top of the pine tree.
I know that the sun was a bit off center on the pine tree below, but I moved my position to correct it in the tag picture of the second post that you will see soon. You can see the sky taking on a red color here, and later it become even more interesting as I will show you soon.
And finally, just a landscape shot with the sea on the horizon.
Those mountains on the horizon also created a great backdrop to the photos that I will show you in the second post. And so, I really hope that you will be looking forward to it. We really have some magical sunsets here in the Western Cape Province, of South Africa, and we are happy to live in the very southern tip of the African continent. Every day feels like a gift, an adventure, and a blessing.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Absolutely wonderful. Color tones suggest a living fire in the sky that causes a strong dramatic beauty. The sunset event is always magical and when it is possible to capture thus, with so much sense of beauty, and they achieve images that are capable of generating their own narrative, because the extraordinary happens.Photography takes an added value and art happens. These captures go further ... Congratulations !!!!
Thank you, and I am glad that you enjoyed the dramatic beauty. It always delivers a great sense of peace in my mind when I watch the color shows in the skies. Each photo does indeed have their own stories to tell in order to suit the differences in our minds.
