No day is the same over here.

It seems that the mountains put up special shows for my camera.

So, you will see some very special shows on this day.

We can never know what to expect, as we get so many different views on show every new day. But I am not complaining, as we have learned to enjoy the constant changes, and we can savour the beauty so much more. If one thinks about it, this has been happening for centuries, and millions of people over time have been watching it. So, we also stare at it in the presence of a historical cloud of witnesses. I can just imagine how surprised the early settlers were at these sights, as they never saw it in their own countries. In the meantime, the locals were used to it as they saw it every day. We also never saw these views in the north of the country where we come from, and that's why it's so special for us.

The value of nature can never be overstated, and yet so many totally ignore it. Others instead exploit it by cutting down forests and eradicating wetlands to make way for residential developments. In the first instance, trees absorb toxic gasses, and they release oxygen and in the latter case, wetlands act as water filters to purify the water. But we ignore this as logs and developments mean profit, and profit rules the world. So, who cares if we release toxins into the atmosphere to generate electricity, or if we dump tons of waste into the seas. Who cares if the poison that we call oil leaks into the oceans, covering beaches and the poor penguins. I can tell you that nature cares, and lately nature has started to rebel. Storms like never before are wreaking ravages in many countries, and it even snows in the deserts. Something is terribly wrong, and many more will die if we do not start to care.

The banning of cutting forests down and development on wetlands will be a good start, and heavy fines to countries that dump their rubbish into the oceans could be a start, but so much more has to be done. The problem is that there are no profits in these remedial actions, and therefore it is viewed as an expensive burden.

Oh, mankind you are shooting yourself in the foot,
as your eyes are forever on the loot.
The destruction of nature by our hand,
will offer future generations no stand.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the lament.

Jesus, how powerful photos, this one especially

I totally agree with you, we must take more care of natural resources, in my country there is a total crisis with this issue and unfortunately every day many forests disappear including all its ecosystem. The photos are magnificent. Greetings and have a good day

I think that this has been happening all across the world, and soon we will all be in very serious trouble.
Glad that you liked the photos. !LOL

feels like we often get caught up in our gadgets and forget to appreciate nature’s beauty. It’s sad to think about how much we’ve taken nature for granted.

How do you take these photos, this one looks like the cloud is rushing down towards you it looks beautiful
