RE: Finally, the baby came out of the nest.

Nah! The parents look well after their little ones. We also have a feeding pair across the road, and even in the rain the parents came into the front garden to look for bugs. Pity that I cannot see the nest, as it is hidden in a very dense tree.

I seldom see the nests, allowing bush to fill out for the birds to enjoy, little ones have some good places to hide in my garden which makes me happy.

So now hear this. I heard the singing the continuous singing of the sunbird early this morning, more than usual, so we went to investigate. Guess what made us so happy? They are building a nest inside the Palagonia bush right next to our front door. I will post about it one of these days, as I am waiting to get the mom on the eggs. !LOLZ

Bird life here has started in top form with cheeky seen again during the week. Managed to see a little sparrowhawk which I will share when I take a good look at the photographs captured. !LUV

Great to hear, but I think that our cold front would have reached your shores by now. Just winter reminding us that it will be back in the future. And they say that it will be even worse.
Glad that you got a sparrowhawk, and looking forward to the photos.

Little bit of rain, cooler weather makes one really appreciate the times we do sit waiting for change.

Rather a little bit of rain than floods in my book. Amazing how people can complain about the weather changes. Some plead for summer and when the very hot days arrive, then they plead for winter???

Humans are fickle, always have been 🙃
