So, you have snow there now and a great idea that had to access a gorge in another area. Otherwise, you would never have had a chance to get a fabulous photo like this one. That tree and its colors look beautiful and backed by the fog and a waterfall in the back, gives the photo a wistful look. Really beautiful my friend.
All that I could come up today, with regards to beauty was the one-day flowers of the Echinopsis catii plant.

I'm at the end of another nightshift and after it my desk is waiting for me π
Yep, when the wind was right, they knew that I was coming home way before they saw me π !LOLZ
I'm not so good in photographing trees, and so I have to thank you so much for this kind compliment π My next nightshift is on Sunday, but I hope that on Saturday I'll be able to make a little trip somewhere again.
Wow, that's a little beauty π I think my mother has had such one when I was a kid, because the blossoms look quite familiar to me, and I think she also called it something like "one-day" or so.

it has been bad before the Pandemic, but I think since 2020 everything and everybody has changed - simple things have become complicated ... and it continues like this and gets worse.
Yep, I think in those days I have learned the lesson that walking with the wind can cause a closed door to my home π !LOLZ

now that you say this, we were discussing the regression and the new anxieties just the other day. It seems like so many including us have become hesitant and unsure in our decisions. We can act irrationally in an instant and late on we regret it.

oh yes, there's so much going on at the moment and I don't know what or whom to believe, but I think it will not take very long until at least some things will get clearer ... I don't fear for my future, but I'm not so sure about my kids future.
Today I've been to a short hike with a nice waterfall at the end: Slap Kozjak in Slovenia.
If I wouldn't have to work tomorrow I would have stayed longer and visited another waterfall. But if everything goes as planned, I will take the week after next week off ... we'll see.

Really confusion that reigns these days my friend. Instead of things becoming clearer, I think that it will become way more confusing in the future, as we haven't bottomed yet. New wars are waiting just around the corner and we can only pray π
But we hope that our kids will clear up the mess in their time at the helm, unless they turn out like us π !LOLZ
I am drooling about the picture and if you can get fantastic shot on a short hike, I can only imagine what you will get soon on a longer hike. You guys are certainly blessed with the beauty over there and I hope that your planned week off will happen.

yep, you're right, and I have no idea where this all will end ... and when and how this will end.
Allour hope is with our kids - they will hopefully make it all better than we did.
Thank you so much, it's a nice hike, although the autumnal colours are almost gone.
Yesterday morning was the first frosty morning and I had to scrape ice off the windshield for the first time this year. Today was cold, but quite nice.
