After a busy week I needed this hike yesterday and I really enjoyed it, but then I mostly slept or watched YouTube im my bed through the rest of Sunday 😅 !LOLZ
Before I laid down I started editing the few photos, but I'm not sure if they are good ... maybe I'll carry on editing this afternoon. I've also made a short video a little bit below the mountain peak. It was nice but very windy:

Yesterday I saw a video on YouTube where a photographer spent 3 days on the Drakensberg mountain - it was cold and there was a lot of snow. On the third day the clouds cleared up and they've had an amazing sunrise 😀

Just to think that long ago we visited the Drakensberg a few times and I think that I posted about 5 or 6 years ago. That is one magic mountain my friend and I can just imagine the beautiful photos that you and your camera can take there at the Berg 😊

Actually, I wanted to make a post about this hike on Sunday, but I slept instead, as you know 🤣 but thanks a lot that you like it. I should thank the weatherman for telling the people that on Sunday would be bad weather, so I have had the mountain for me alone. Later the people arrived, of course, but at that time I was already back at my car 😉
All videos and photos I have seen from the Drakensberg are magic as you say, and I hope that one day I'll see it with my own eyes. Maybe not in the Winter, because I already know what snow looks like 😉

Summer with the early morning mists at the Ampitheater is the best time to be there Hannes. I once got a big herd of Eland bucks there on an early morning and also several baboons. There is an abundance of wildlife and the berg is full of birds 😉
A bit flat today, but tomorrow I will be better my friend.
