...as the mist from the Atlantic Ocean controls the blistering heat.
I will show you the misty attack and the gradual clearance in the day.
During my younger days, sweat never bothered me, but now I try my best to avoid it.
The good thing is that we live close to the cold Atlantic Ocean, and while there is a heatwave that tops 40C in the other inland parts of the country, over here at the coast we cruise along within the lower parts of the 20s. As some of you know, we are now in the summer season in the southern hemisphere, and already the heatwaves have started. Always a danger for wildfires and a few have already started. But thankfully, our fire crews are on the ball as they are very experienced.
I will use the views in here as an analogy to describe the effects that the role of pitfalls and problems play in our lives.
You can read all about it in the concluding paragraph.
This was when the clouds started to bring the mist in off the sea.
And then a misty veil of clouds was drawn across the mountains.
Ever so slowly things started to lighten up.
The blue of the sky became visible again.
And then it became all clear and nary a trace of mist could be seen.
Then the winds started to play with the clouds.
This so reminded me about our lives. I see this as a recurring cycle of light and the shades of dark that appear so regularly in our existence on this planet. One day might be bright and happy, and the very next day some kind of problem appears from out of nowhere. Think about it. The lighter shades of the dark like the grey of the mist resemble the easier problems to solve, but the black storm clouds resemble the bad problems that we quite often cannot solve.
But hear this, have you ever laid awake at night in bed worrying about one or another bad problem you don't know how to solve? And when you awake the next day, the problem has somehow disappeared? They say that life has a habit of fixing itself, and I firmly believe in that. Our habit of worrying itself creates other problems. Just like when you take a pill for some illness and the pill's side effects create another health problem. Then they give you another pill to create a new problem, and eventually you end up with a handful of pills and lots of added health problems. The solution? Stop worrying. Easy? No. But it can be done, and it always helps to talk about your worries, as sharing is caring.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

I can understand you when you write "This so reminded me about our lives. I see this as a recurring cycle of light and the shades of dark...". Here now the Winter is close to us, I can see the snow on the peaks from my window and it's the same: this reminds me about the recurring cycle of light and dark every life has. ❤️
Thank you, and I am so glad that you understood my words, Lady Silvia. Light and dark is indeed factored into every life here on earth. Those snow peaks must be beautiful to see.
