Details, colors, shapes and textures

When I go shopping at the supermarket, I take a shortcut through the underpass under the railroad tracks. There's a swamp with a pond next to it where frogs croak and snails always come out in the evening. During the day they're holed up somewhere, but they always come out in the evening. Since snails are slow, I guess it's always an effort for them to climb up and down the branches slowly. But I'm sure there's a higher purpose for them.

Když chodím nakupovat do supermarketu, tak si zkracuju cestu podchodem pod tratí. A vedle je takový močál s jezírkem, kde kuňkají žáby a vždycky večer vylezou na větve keřů šneci. Přes den jsou někde zalezlí, ale vždycky večer vylézají. Jelikož jsou šneci pomalí, tak asi jim dá vždycky hroznou námahu na ty větvičky pomalu vylézt a zase slézt. Ale určitě to pro ně má nějaký vyšší smysl.

Dandelion in out of flower. One of the last ones left in the meadow. Actually, almost half the seeds have flown away. But on the other hand, at least you can see the remaining ones better.

Odkvetlá pampeliška. Jedna z posledních, co ještě na louce zbyly. Vlastně skoro polovina semínek už odletěla. Ale na druhou stranu, aspoň je na ty zbývající líp vidět.

This outlandish bush caught my eye in the park. Especially the soft purple shade of its flowers. I guess I didn't manage to reproduce it faithfully in the photo, but it doesn't matter in the end.

V parku mě zaujal tento cizokrajný keř. Hlavně tedy jemně nafialovělý odstín jeho květů. Asi se mi nepodařilo ho věrně reprodukovat na fotografii, ale to nakonec nevadí.

The origin of this last photo is a mystery to me. Judging by the time it was taken, I took it in the afternoon, on my way to the station from work. But I didn't take it on purpose, I probably just accidentally touched my phone screen and the camera reacted. However, I like the abstract pattern. I'm even entertaining the idea of having it printed on canvas and hung in my room at home.

I once wrote that my best photos are the spontaneous ones that I don't think too much about. But I wouldn't have expected it to go to such an extreme.

Původ této poslední fotky je pro mě záhadou. Podle času pořízení jsem ji udělal odpoledne, cestou z práce na nádraží. Ale neudělal jsem ji úmyslně, pravděpodobně jsem se jen nějak náhodně dotkl displeje a foťák zareagoval. Nicméně, ten abstraktní vzor se mi líbí. Dokonce se zaobírám myšlenkou nechat si to vytisknout na plátno a pověsit doma v pokoji.

Kdysi jsem napsal, že moje nejlepší fotky jsou ty spontánní, nad kterými moc nepřemýšlím. Že to ale dojde do takového extrému, to bych nečekal 😀😀😍
