In the past, I used the Actifit app and on many occasions. I posted only a single photo due to the rush to post the activity, but I was recommended now to post several of the same days, so I will do this.
This was the day we climbed the Pedra do Peito de Pombo, in the mountain region of Macaé. In the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This is the view of the final part of the trail where we have to travel a long climb through the tropical jungle to reach the top.
You can see the imposing stone at the top.
This last stretch is very steep and it is necessary to grasp tree branches to be able to advance.
Finally, the exact shape of the stone is revealed to us.
Time to rest and enjoy the scenery.
The view from the south.
The view from the east.
The view from the west.
The northern view.
The biggest mountain that can be seen is the peak of Frade.
The visibility was not perfect, but on clearer days it is possible to easily observe looking to the south, the blue ocean in the distance.
We were able to spot the inhabitants of the place, a couple of peregrine hawks.
Then we had a slow descent and we had to walk in the moonlight, but this is another story.
all the photos in this post were taken by me that day with a Canon digital camera.
These are excellent shots! That place looks awesome. I really like the stone on top of the stone... on top of another stone! Nature rocks! Thanks for sharing here in the community!
Hello my friend, @castleberry, thank you very much for the comment. It is a magical place that I love and I have climbed this rock more than 50 times. The sunrise up there is also wonderful, I'll share it in another post. I'm glad you liked it. A hug.
Hugs back! That does look pretty magical and quite an awesome view!
