Awesome night-time photography, mate! In Malaysia though, I'm not sure if I'd be wanting to sit on the ground like that. You'll have ants crawling up your legs, and cicadas latching onto your hair. That's not to mention all the malaria flying around 😆
We don't have deadly creatures around 😂
That's one of the reasons why I've always wanted to move out of Malaysia... For all the deadly and creepy monster that lurk in the greenery 😬

Some great pictures there, I always have trouble with night time photography. The settings don’t come out right and the pictures don’t look good. I do remember needing a tripod though since the shutter speed is a lot slower to let the light fill up.
Yes you need a tripod to get longer exposure :) and the light is important
