I took a short weekend vacation and visited the Arieseni area, Romania. I was expecting greenery and warmth and when I reached the mountains to my surprise I found snow.
I haven't used the camera for a while because I was too busy with the design but I'm going to take some more pictures these days.
Until then, I attached some pictures I took in the mountains, some landscapes, and some macro pictures.

Nice collection @pixaroma !
Thank you :D
So beautiful!
You really have nice set of photos here.
Thank you so much, can't wait to take more photos now that the weather is getting warmer and I can get out without my hands freezing on the camera :D
Your photos look amazing. Nature is slowly waking up from the snow and forest feel so quiet in this photographs. Also I really like the photos were plants look like they are unfreezing, just so satisfying for my eyes. 🌳😀
Thank you for checking my photos, yeah nature is beautiful
You managed to capture some interesting pictures, indeed the area of Arieseni, Vartop and other less known areas of Alba county amaze us with their beauty in winter.
Here we can still see what a real winter looks like, because in my area of Arad where I live I haven't seen a real winter for a long time.
Greetings from Arad!
I am from Arad too ☺️ yeah winter is rare here
Wow, did you see how small the world is?
Yeah, I know :D
Curious about the dry plant black background effect... how to you get it?
If the blitz power is more powerful then the ambient light then will overpower it and make it black, try to add the blitz close to the subject and then increase the power until it gets black. Other options is to adjust the settings until you see all black then add a light to illuminate the subject. Check this tutorial on YouTube
Aha! Thanks for providing a tutorial. I had no idea how to do it. I end up doing in Photoshop, but it's never the same as the natural effect.
What a collection of great shots. Every shot is mesmerising. Nicely done.
Have a good day!
Thank you ☺️
