On a warm and inviting day, the heart of Kaunas became a hub of artistic expression as creatives and visitors came together for the Artists’ Picnic. This unique event wasn’t just an exhibition—it was an interactive space where anyone could immerse themselves in the world of art. Whether it was trying out painting, experimenting with photography, or simply watching mesmerizing performances, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The beauty of the Artists’ Picnic lay in its relaxed, open-air atmosphere. Instead of the usual gallery walls, the event took place in a green outdoor space where people could sit on the grass, engage with artists, and experience creativity in its purest form. Artists showcased their work, shared their techniques, and invited others to participate. The mix of structured activities and free-flowing creativity made it an inspiring event for both artists and the public.
As I wandered through the event with my camera, I was met with many happy faces and beautiful connections. Events like this remind me why I love photography—it's about preserving these fleeting yet meaningful interactions, giving them life beyond the moment.
Whether you came to create, observe, or simply relax in an inspiring setting, the Artists’ Picnic offered a little something for everyone. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day—let me know which ones resonate with you the most!
