Yesterday afternoon I was in an art event in downtown Havana in which some of my friends participated, but the proposal I bring today is not the event itself, but what happened afterwards and that is that when I left I found a very nice afternoon, a spectacular light that painted with a soft orange color all the Havana landscape.
I went back to my mother-in-law's house, where I had left my scooter parked, and I took the images that came my way.
Ayer en la tarde estuve en un evento de arte en centro de la Habana en la que participaron algunos amigos, pero la propuesta que traigo hoy no es el evento en si, sino lo que pasó después y es que al salir me encontré con una tarde muy bonita , una luz espectacular que pintaba con una suave color naranja todo el paisaje habanero.
Ni corto ni perezoso , de vuelta a casa de mi suegra donde había dejado mi escooter parqueada, fui tomando las imágenes que llegaban a mí paso.
This view of the Capitol with the respective hotel Inglaterra and the Alicia Alonso theater could not be missed, as the light was so soft I got a good image of the dome that is usually always burned by the intense sun.
Esta vista del Capitolio con los respectivos hotel Inglaterra y el teatro Alicia Alonso no podían faltar , como la luz era tan suave logré una buena imagen de la cúpula que por lo general queda siempre quemada por el intenso sol
Then I was welcomed by the Hotel Telegrafo and I also took the opportunity to take these two bicitaxi, a type of transport that people here take for short trips in the same area.
Acto seguido me recibió el Hotel telégrafo y también aproveché para tomar en la escena estos dos bicitaxi que son un tipo de transporte que tomamos las personas acá para viajes cortos en la misma zona.
As night began to fall, the streetlights began to light up in Prado and I got this shot of people taking the evening coolness in these staircases set by the lamps on both sides.
Como ya empezaba a caer la noche, comenzaron a encenderse las farolas en Prado y logré está toma de personas tomando el fresco de la tarde en estas escalera ambientadas por las lámparas a ambos lados
Also taking advantage of the arrangement of street lamps, I took a photo of them in perspective among the trees.
Aprovechando también la disposición de farolas tome la foto de estas en perspectiva entre los arboles
From here I started to go into the downtown area, leaving behind the touristy part which is evident by the deterioration of the houses of the people, luckily the light of the sunset does not distinguish the rich from the poor and comes out for all 🙂
A partir de aquí empecé a adentrarme en la zona de centro, dejando atrás la parte turística, lo cual se hace evidente por el deterioro de las casas de la gente. Por suerte la luz del atardecer no distingue el rico del pobre y sale para todos 🙂
I continued on my way, trying to catch the light on the buildings and some people who also came out to meet me in the middle of their way home.
Seguí mi camino, tratando de captura la luz en los edificios y algunas personas que también salieron a mi encuentro centro de vuelta a sus casa.
I hope you liked this sunset that I wanted to share with you in my old Havana, which still retains some of its old charms, although time and neglect are leaving strong traces in its streets and people. A big hug!
