Today I present selection of 16 street photos I took recently at the streets and yards of St.Petersburg - some architecture, folks faces and street life.
The day started very misty in the morning... but it gone in a few hours, the rest of the captures had no sign of it. I walked across different streets, equipped with 70-200mm. Decided to adjust it to monochrome cause... well, you can guess why. I have sun-less days and thus up for the #mono mood again.
...and also, cause some of the se captures turned out a natural monochrome, as well.
Very intresting and intrigue, enigmatic window. One of surprising finds that one may encounter in the yards of St.Petersburg.
The traces of repairs on the walls of the house look like a cancerous tumor devouring the house. Spectacular yard too.

BMX bikes and scooters are in style, but sadly the skateboard is now retro.
One may call the current epoch 'the era of scooters'. Sadly that skateboards are gone. I still see some from time to time - maybe the folks here were 'late to the feast' ?... anyway this art not abandoned completely here yet.

cool collection, St.Petersburg is beautiful, i think my fav is the white wall with the window it's interesting how the the plants are gradually taking over the wall- i'm sure that's lenin next to the window is that a small museum or so ?, about the "happy pair" because of her closed eyes the girl appears as f she is crying although i'm sure she is not. well done, great work & have a good day

The bass-relief attached on the left side of said window - haha! - is actually portrait of V.I.Lenin... the founder of soviet state. And there are more cool objects attached around. Very curious window! some spiritual person might be living there!
