He was a nonconformist for sure 😃, most likely had a lot of problems due to his art in those times. Those who dared to be different met a lot of obstacles and oppression, but how else are we going to make some progress if everyone plays by the rules and no one dares to create something extraordinary out of the box type art. I saw his his urinal piece of art, he must have blown the fuse with it 😁
Definitely one of those that make people say.. "How can this be art" "I know how to do this".. Well, do it then haha.. What's stopping you from doing it.
I honestly love out-of-the-box, unconventional, it is my favorite. And the more controversy the better haha.
Lol, I know what you mean but not many dare to do it. It depends on what's your end goal. If you're creating art for money, you need to please the public. The real art is not that though. Pleasing the public is not art.
